Skip a Loan Payment

Take a break from your loan with Tremont Credit Union’s Skip-a-Payment. Defer your auto, personal, motorcycle, RV, or boat payment by filling out the form below. 

Please note: Skip-a-Payment is not applicable for credit card, real estate, or open-end loan payments.

    Please fill out and submit the form below at least 10 business days before the loan payment is due. Please note, a $35 fee will be assessed for a deferred payment, and there is a limit of two (2) skips per 12-month payment cycle. You are responsible for suspending any automatic payments which have been initiated. (Not applicable for credit card, real estate, and open-ended loans)

    • Terms and Conditions: Offer limited to two (2) skips per 12-month payment cycle on select loan products. A $35 fee will be applied to each deferred payment. Payment will be deferred for the next full month of your loan. Payroll payments will not be deducted from your account. Loans must be open and current for at least six (6) months, with a minimum of six (6) payments made since disbursement of the loan. This offer is an extension of the loan contract. Interest will continue to accrue during the extension period. Regular payment distributions will resume following the extension period. Please note that it is the responsibility of the loan owner to suspend any automatic payments which have been initiated. Only available on consumer installment loans. Member must be in good standing with Tremont Credit Union. Payment deferments are not applicable on credit card, real estate, or open-ended loans. Guaranteed Auto Protection (GAP) may be reduced more than two extensions over the life of the loan. Offer may not be combined with any other loan special or offer. Only available for a limited time.
